Prevention and Healthcare Research

The healthcare system is coming under pressure from the growing number of people suffering from chronic disorders in the Netherlands. To ensure that the available resources can continue to meet the demand without compromising access to healthcare, we need to look at health from a different perspective. What is required is an approach that pays attention to the differences between people and better reflects their personal experience and the context in which they live.
