Personalised medicine: the individual at the centre

In a nutshell, the Personalised Medicine route is pursuing the ideal of making effective care as close to home as possible a reality for every individual patient. To achieve that, advances are needed in the creation of knowledge and in the organisation of care. In addition to major investments in a robust data infrastructure and in technological and methodological developments, new research coalitions and intensive communication with the public are essential.
