Slow AI

The "Slow AI" project rethinks our relationship with artificial intelligence (AI) by focusing on the concept of slowness. This approach challenges the extractive, colonial, and biased foundations of current AI technologies. The "Material Playgrounds" and the artistic research studio serve as experimental spaces to reimagine our interactions with AI, in collaboration with artists and researchers. These explorations are applied to the cultural collections of the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision. Through public events, exhibitions, and publications, "Slow AI" seeks to foster more inclusive, ethical, and reflective engagement with AI technologies.
